About Our Department
The Graduate Department of French offers degrees in literature and linguistics at the MA and PhD level.
Applications to the Department of French must be submitted through the School of Graduate Studies online application. Admission to all programs for post-graduate degrees will be based upon the evidence of the supporting letters and the applicant’s academic record. All incoming students will meet with the Associate Chair, Graduate & Coordinator, Admissions and Funding, to discuss the program and to decide on their course of study before beginning classes.
Deadlines for Receipt of Applications
The deadline for online application and payment of application fee is January 15, 2024. The deadline for receipt of documents at the Department of French is January 31, 2024.
